The Hog Island Audubon Camp has been in operation since 1936 and is primarily an adult-focused facility which offers about 15 different residential programs each summer, each lasting for 6 days. Some of our 2018 programs include Field Ornithology; Sharing Nature: An educator’s Week ; The Joy of Birding; Arts and Birding; etc. etc. http://hogisland.audubon.org

Where: Indiana University, Bloomington Campus
What: The Biology Summer Institute brings Indiana high school biology teachers to the Indiana University Bloomington campus to work in cutting-edge research laboratories in the Department of Biology. During this week-long program, biology faculty provide an introduction to their research and collaborate with teachers to develop innovative experiments and lessons that the teachers can bring back to their high school classrooms.
Potential disciplines include: Molecular and Cellular Biology, Evolution and Genetics, Behavior and Development, and Microbial Responses and Metabolism.
