We are happy to announce that Ball State University’s Council on the Environment (COTE) is sponsoring Jeff Corwin as a Bracken Lecturer this year and we would like to extend a special invitation to middle school and high school teachers. Jeff Corwin travels the world as an environmentalist and animal rights activist. You may have seen his shows on Animal Planet, the Discovery Channel, and the Disney Channel. His talk, Tales from the Field with Jeff Corwin, will feature live animals on stage. There will be a book-signing following the lecture. The event will take place Monday, November 13, 2017 at 7:00 pm (arrive at 6:30 pm). Tickets are FREE, and will be available to the general public on October 27th at the Emens Box Office.  You must pick up a ticket prior to the event.

As a follow-up to this exciting event, we also invite you to an Endangered Species Curriculum Development Workshop for Middle School and High School Teachers, on Saturday, November 18, 9:00 am – 12:00 pm in Teachers College, Room 412, on the Ball State campus.  Workshop participants will receive 3 PGP points.  Seats for the workshop are limited, so please RSVP at the link below by Monday, November 6.
